Welcome to Redeemer Kids!
We are so grateful to have you and your family join us for worship at Redeemer. Our desire with Redeemer Kids is to come along side parents & caregivers as they nurture and grow their children into followers of Christ. We strive to create the safest environment possible for our smallest disciples to learn about the deep love Jesus has for them.
We recognize that family discipleship does not look the same for each family or each child within a family. When you join us for Sunday morning worship your child is more than welcome to join us in the main service or to participate in our Redeemer Kids class.
I'd love to share more with you about our programing if you have questions. Feel free to reach out to me at karen@redeemeratl.org.

Family Sundays
Normally, the school-age children (Ages 3 to 3rd Grade) will be invited to leave to participate in the Redeemer Kids ministry following the 3rd Scripture reading. However, once a month (the last Sunday of the month) we host Family Sunday when all school-age children remain in the sanctuary for the entirety of the service!
Family Sundays are an opportunity for our children to learn from and model the behavior of the adults around them. In addition to singing alongside the adults, the children hear the sermon, which is geared to connect with kids and adults alike. We also invite children to participate in the service through scripture reading, announcements and welcoming new visitors. These are always special Sundays, and we LOVE getting to hear the extra joyful noise!

Toddler Room (Ages 1-2)
Children ages 1 & 2 will stop at the check-in station upon arrival, before heading into their classroom, which opens at 10:20am. In our Toddler Room, children will spend the morning playing, listening to an interactive Bible story, singing songs, enjoying a snack, and being prayed over.

pre-K (Ages 3-5), KG-1st & 2nd-3rd
Children ages 3 through 3rd grade will stop at the check-in station upon arrival, before joining their caregivers for the worship portion of the service in the upstairs sanctuary. After worship, they will be dismissed to their classroom for a time of learning and connection through a Bible story, group discussion, snack, and an activity. These age groups use the Sparkhouse Whirl Lectionary Curriculum, which follows the church calendar year.
